Bishop Munetsi Zowa is an ordained credential holder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ) currently serving on the Bishop's council. His responsibility in the PAOZ includes overseeing the Social Concerns department the Village Of Hope as well as being the lead minister at Hope Community Church.
Serving in different leadership capacities within the PAOZ for over twenty-three years has allowed Bishop Zowa opportunities to travel around Zimbabwe. An apparent feature of concern is the absence of on-going training for rural ministers and their leadership teams.
Following a model once used by one of His mentors. Dr Zowa started taking leadership training to rural areas to encourage local church leaders with leadership training and leadership resources. This leadership training for rural based ministers has been an occasional part of His ministry and has started including leadership training for new local assemblies and church plants.
This model seems to follow a little of what Barnabas did. Barnabas was known in the book of Acts as a man of encouragement He was the one who brought Paul to Antioch, he stood with John Mark when Paul was not ready to continue with Him. BLOC is a platform of encouragement to those pastors and ministry leaders who may not have access to conventional leadership training.
Dr Munetsi Zowa is a passionate teacher of the word. His Masters and Doctoral situdies were on leadership and minister respectively.
