Your Identity

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” John‬ ‭1:12‬

Have you received Jesus in your life ? If so you have become a part of the family of God‭? It is a universal family with eternal privileges. “So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.” Gal‬ ‭4:7‬.Your identity of being God’s child supersedes all other identities.

Because you are a child of God it is important to live like one. As a child your relationship is not transactional but based on the father’s love. “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Luke‬ ‭11:13‬.
