“The sluggard says, “There’s a lion outside! I’ll be killed in the public square!”Proverbs 22:13
Laziness is not good. Lazy people always have excuses. They see the difficulty in most opportunities. All that a sluggard sees are the problems, the obstacles, and the impossibilities. Remember, “A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven people who answer discreetly. Proverbs 26:16. Whatever the case, maybe we should never use excuses to justify laziness or unwillingness to move. The truth is difficulties are challenges to the diligent but excuses to the lazy. With God on our side, we are winners no need to be lazy.
The other truth is that sometimes excuses are used by those having a hard time believing what God is saying and those refusing to acknowledge God-given opportunities. God has blessed us with different gifts and abilities, and each of us is gifted in varying degrees. It is important to know what God has equipped you to do and start being more useful without giving excuses. Rise up and do something do not hide behind good excuses.
