To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” Proverbs‬ ‭21:3‬ ‭

“Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? ... He has shown you what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah‬ ‭6:7-8‬.  Today’s verse shows is that one of the best things for us to pursue is  doing right and acting justly. 

Jesus intimated the same to the Religious people of  His time; “ You give a tenth of your spices mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” Mat‬ ‭23:23‬. We see here that relationships matter, and they are important and weightier than religious activities. As we live this world that is increasingly corrupt, mean and self-serving, let us be willing and ready to take to heart and act on the words of this verse.

With every opportunity do what is RIGHT in God’s eyes.
