The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous. Proverbs‬ ‭15:29‬ ‭

This proverb resonates with the words of James. In the book of James, we are told, “….. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James‬ ‭5:16‬. Whatever we do, we should pay attention to righteous living above religious activity. Remember ‬‬ , righteousness and lawlessness are incompatible. We must all desire to maintain sweet fellowship with God and to walk godly in Christ Jesus for our prayers to be fruitful. 

God is attentive and intimate with those who fear Him and walk according to His laws. Through Christ, we are righteous of God. He brought us near by His blood; therefore, our praying is never in vain as long as we pray accordingly.
