“Whoever seeks good finds favor, but evil comes to one who searches for it.” Proverbs‬ ‭11:27‬ ‭

The word seek means to go in search of, try to discover, try to acquire. It requires an active, assertive and focused pursuit in life. If we seek things that are virtuous and lovely, we surely will find them. In the area of relationships we must always seek good. Seeking to be a good parent, brother, sister and neighbor.  Remember we are to: ““Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Mat 5:16‬‭.

Good-willed living is a choice we can make because: “To the pure, all things are pure, …” Titus‬ ‭1:15‬ ‭ -  We see things primarily as we are not as they are. “So from now on, we regard no one from a worldly point of view.  ‭‭(2 Cor ‭5:16‬ ‭) Perception influences how you relate.  Therefore look for the good in others and practice the art of good-willed living. Yesterday in a game of league soccer match the opposite team rewarded my son with a token appreciation for being a good sportsman even after losing the match to our team. Seeking the good and being good should become a natural part of the life of every child of God.
