Wisdom Nugget

“For through wisdom your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.” Proverbs‬ ‭9:11‬ ‭

In the third chapter, we are told this about wisdom. “Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.” Wisdom, being the fear of God, allows a person to enjoy both quantity and quality of life. By wisdom, a wise person is able to shun evil, and he avoids the destructive effects of sin. 

Wisdom is also living with Christ; “…..in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” Col 2:3‬. We may see the Bible as having many uses, but its primary purpose is to give the message of salvation by grace through faith in Christ which is the wisdom of God. Through Christ, we know we have abundant life. Be wise stay in Christ.
