WISDOM FROM ABOVE

But they could not stand up against the wisdom the Spirit gave him as he spoke.”

Jesus had promised His disciples saying “When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Luke‬ ‭12:11-12‬. 

Stephen shows what Jesus promised. The accompanying presence of God through the Holy Spirit manifested in the wisdom the He gave Stephen as he spoke. ‭ God’s wisdom is not released in a form or religion but through His presence. The indwelling spirit works in the life of every believer in this manner . Like Stephen be assured that when you yield to the Holy Spirit He manifests His wisdom through you.
