“Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,”
Galatians 6:4
Many times comparing ourselves with others we are apt to boast, especially if those we compare ourselves with seem inferior. Since believers are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance. It is important for each person to embrace their God given capacity and function in accordance with the faith God has distributed to them avoiding comparisons.
Being involved in good acts without despising others fulfills God’s mission with individuals. It creates a sincere commitment to others and a positive atmosphere of brotherly love. In such atmosphere there is no reason to gloat over another brother.
Great day to you
