 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew‬ 25:39-40‬ ‭

It was Jesus who said these words

“...Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Included in the many ways we minister to the Lord is our social outreach to those in need. We called to practical ministry too. Especially toward those that are considered lowly. Such ministry happens out of a big loving heart.

“Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?” James‬ ‭2:15-16‬. By responding to the material and social needs of the needy we will be ministering to the Lord. Such ministry accrues to our account and will be considered by the Lord.
