Seeking God #10

‭ ”You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’ 2 Chronicles‬ ‭20‬:‭17‬

When King Jehoshaphat sought God's guidance and protection in the war against  a smelt, God responded through a prophet, assuring the king that the battle was not his, but God's. God reminded Jehoshaphat that he did not need to be afraid or discouraged because the Lord would be with him. The message emphasized that victory would be achieved not through human might, but through faith and trust in God's providence and power. In response to Jehoshaphat's seeking, God offered reassurance, affirming His presence and the ultimate victory that would be secured through faith and obedience.
