REMEMBER YOUR MOMENT

And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, saw how he died, he said, “Surely this man was the Son of God! Mark‬ ‭15:39‬

Being a centurion this man obviously had either interacted with or heard about Jesus prior to this day. However the event before Him was a defining one.  He could no longer doubt the identity of Jesus. This was has moment of revelation that should have changed his perception of self.

This was beyond hearing about Jesus Christ but he had a unique experience. He had His moment. A proper experience who He is will lead to a proper self perception “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.”” Job‬ ‭42:5-6‬. It is important to understand that when we know Him well we know ourselves better.
