 “Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them.” Romans 16:3-4 

In this chapter Paul takes time to remember and appreciate different people for their role in his life. It is important that you notice people you have contributed to who you have become and celebrate them. There is no self made person Among any other variables we are all products of our associations and contacts. While it is common that we are more likely to remember the negative over the  positive , like Paul we need to deliberately reflect on the positives.

By appreciating people the great apostle admits and teaches that we are all products of those around us. Celebrate, appreciate and be grateful for the blessing of the people in your life. Someone once said “We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.” Substitute things with people and it reads “We often take for granted the very PEOPLE  that most deserve our gratitude.”

No wonder why Paul wrote “We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly.”1 Thess 1:2. And Hebrews encourages us by saying; “Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; ........... Heb 13:7
