Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest.” Proverbs‬ ‭26:2‬ ‭
 
This Proverb reminded me of the words of Balaam who was caused by God to declare “How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? How can I denounce those whom the Lord has not denounced?” Numbers‬ ‭23:8‬. In the same vein, the truth is that no weapon, including curses, can prevail against a righteous person. The cross of Christ crushed the curse that weighed down on the neck of God’s people. We may face challenges and difficulties because we live in a fallen world not because we are cursed. 
 
Are you born of God? Have you been called to sonship? Then like a sparrow or a darting swallow no curse can rest on you. Be sure that he looks upon you as accepted in Christ. The truth is no magic art can prevail against people who are under the shield of Christ’s blood. His blood has already broken every curse. Do not live in fear ! No weapon against you will prosper.
