To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” Proverbs 21:3
“Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? ... He has shown you what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:7-8. Today’s verse shows us that one of the best things for us to pursue is doing right and acting justly.
Jesus intimated the same to the Religious people of His time; “ You give a tenth of your spices mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practised the latter, without neglecting the former.” Mat 23:23. We see here that relationships matter and they are important and weightier than religious activities.
With every opportunity do what is RIGHT in God’s eyes. Blessings
