It is a sin to despise one’s neighbour, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy. Proverbs‬ ‭14:21‬ ‭
 
From the parable of the Good Samaritan, our neighbour is any person in need. We are encouraged to be kind to our neighbours and not despise them. 
 
God makes the care of the needy one of His chief concerns. By being kind to them we align with divine objectives.  WHAT’S DONE FOR THE NEEDY IS DONE FOR GOD. Proverbs 19:17 He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord...
