Powerbeats has a lot to say about speaking. In today’s verse, the emphasis is on guarding our lips. How can we guard our lips? The only way is to think before speaking.  Before speaking it’s good to ask 
 
T -  is it True? 
H -  is it Honorable?
I -   is it Innocent?
N-  Is it Necessary?
K -  is it Kind?
 
Paul encourages by saying “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt.” Col 4:6. He also encourages us to speak only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs.
