Proverb A Day #11 
 
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”Proverbs‬ ‭11:25‬ ‭
 
In God’s economy generosity is a way to prosperity, because we make a living by what we give and not what we gather. In generosity, we reflect the character of God like some have said we are more like God when we give out of love. 
 
Generosity is so important that Paul instructed Timothy to command those who are rich in this present world to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 1 Tim 6:17-18. And the apostle John also wrote: If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? 1 Jn 3:16-17
