Proverb A Day

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”Proverbs 4:23 

The state of a person’s heart determines the person’s life outputs. Jesus stated, “What comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this is what defiles a man. Our hearts can lead us astray, but God’s wisdom and instruction protects and preserves the heart from all manner of corruption. 

Someone once said, “Sow a thought, reap a deed. Sow a deed, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny.” We must take God’s word to heart. When the word  is in the heart, then we think right, live right, and talk right. The Psalmist said “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Saturate your heart with God’s instruction, His word.
