How was Peter able to sleep on the eve of a possible slaughter? An average believer would not be able to sleep in such circumstances but Peter did. There’s only one way to experience such  peace that transcends human understanding. It happen through resting in the

  • abiding presence of God.
  • accompanying grace of God.
  • achieving power of God.

Because of God being with His own , there is NO need to be defeated by life’s  troubles. We are told by Paul to “.. not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our  requests to God.” Phil‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭
