We do not do what you do because we expect a return of favor. Instead we do it because we have received unmerited favor, it is called Grace. Consider David; “The king asked, “Is there no one still alive from the house of Saul to whom I can show God’s kindness?” 2 Samuel‬ ‭9:3‬.

Those born of God have been ordained to be conduits through which grace flows. “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Gal. 6:10‬. And remember to keep at it for God says “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Gal‬ ‭6:9‬.
