Love

“Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find?” Proverbs‬ ‭20:6‬ ‭

God loved the world and gave His only Son. We respond to this love by loving God. It is our love for God that anchors every other love. God wants us to faithfully love Him in order to fully love those around us. Unfortunately many people’s love for God, the things of God, the presence of God, for evangelism and for the local church have grown cold. When this happens the tendency is to withdraw and withhold self from participating in the things of God To this God’s response is “ .... You have forsaken the love you had at first.” Rev ‬ ‭2:4‬.
Do not allow competing agendas, hurts, offenses and others’ opinions to run your life. These have a tendency to quench the flame of love. God wants you and me to keep loving Him. It is out of our love for God that sustain every other form of Love. When it comes to Love our claims are not more valid than our conduct. Love is not a lesson to be explained but a life to be lived.
