”Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.“ 2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭

When Paul had what he perceived to be a hindrance and a challenge he was surprised by God’s response when he thought it should be removed. God simply said my grace is sufficient for you. We need to know that even the most  faithful, sincere, and committed Christian is not immune from challenges in this walk of faith. Life on earth can involve challenges but the good news is that the presence of God’s hand brings success regardless.

God proclaimed that His grace was
capable of providing everything Paul needed to to live with or without  whatever he called a thorn. God told Paul that His power is made perfect in weakness. The original  word for "sufficient" implies endurance, strength, or satisfaction. God’s accompanying grace is all we need. Remember God never had to come because he is everywhere all the time trust His providence and rest in Him.
