Living By Grace # 1 

”Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps.“ Jeremiah‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬ ‭
”The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.“
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭37‬:‭23‬-‭24‬

Whatever comes our way, we must never consider these apart from God. God’s will, purposes and his providential permission are the reason for our experiences. As we walk through the year we need to be reminded of that. We all want to control our own progress, but the fact is that we are  incapable of achieving our  true destiny. We  need God because apart from Him we are limited. 

”Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” James‬ ‭4‬:‭13‬-‭15‬. Our future is in God’s hands we do our best to keep him in the picture in all our planning. Trusting God with your life plans and walking in His presence is the best way to walk this life
