Journey With Faith #3 

”Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.” Romans‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭

From Abraham we learn that our Faith  is directly linked to obedience to God. Faith  is a relationship.of obedience. As we approach God, we need to know who He is and what He promises. Concerning Abraham we are told ”Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,“ Rom 4‬:‭20‬. I read in one devotional that; “…. the assurance and solidness of faith don’t belong in the natural world, but the spiritual world.” 

In order to succeed in the journey of faith like Abraham did we need to keep our eyes constantly fixed on God, keeping  our hearts and mouths filled with His word  always declaring His promises.
