Journey Through Psalms #31

“How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” Psalms 31:19 

How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you. What a beautiful word. The Psalmist praises the God’s  goodness. Out of his goodness God lavishes His followers with immeasurable Good including the gift of eternal life. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17. 

The Bible is full of examples of the goodness of God. Woven into the fabric of our faith is this goodness, those who come to Him must come with expectant hearts. This goodness is so real and person that we can taste it within our soul. “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.”Psalms 34:8.
