Journey Through Psalms

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Psalms‬ ‭55‬:‭22‬ ‭‬‬

In this psalm, David is facing challenges. A trusted friend had gone against Him. He is mourning this betrayal. As He often does in his psalms he ends by putting his hope in His Lord. Even in the middle of a painful betrayal, he shows that he trusts in God. God who does not betray or forsake. 

In today’s verse, David tells us to give our burdens to the Lord. We can never have all of life figured out. We only need to trust God and cast our loads onto  Him while taking upon our lives His yoke which is easy and light. When you meditate upon your cares and concerns they graduate into worries.  Trust God and let Him handle your life He is a caring and faithful Father.
