“For what you have done I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good. Psalms‬ ‭52‬:‭9‬

Psalm 52 is David’s response to the actions of Doeg who reported Ahimelech to King Saul for protecting David. David turned to God and declared His willingness to praise God regardless of this situation. David spent years waiting for God to grant him the throne he had been anointed for. The waiting period was never easy but David kept trusting God.

Never think that the way people treat you is a reflection of God. God remains faithful steadfast and committed to His people regardless of what they do to each other. The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3. Always let God's good works eclipse men's evil actions. Focus on what He has done and praise Him. In this world, we will have trouble but our joy is that He has overcome the world.
