Journey Through Psalms

“Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.” Psalms‬ ‭47‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭ 

Psalm 47 urges the people to sing praises to God.  The Psalm’s  occasion was the victory of the king. You wouldn’t think that we would need to be urged to praise God especially after a victory. The praise and worship of God ought to be the top concern of our lives. God’s faithfulness, love, kindness and grace are the reason why we ought yo praise Him knowing that he remains unchanged forever. 

There is a place to shout for praise and that place must be the presence of God’s people. Our God is a great king the highest king that there is he deserves our praise. His authority spreads to all the earth but His special cares for His people. Jesus Christ I the great king of the earth those who love Him must learn to walk in praise.
