Journey Through Psalms

“Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your Lord.” Psalms‬ ‭45‬:‭11‬ ‭

The psalmist tells the king's potential bride to keep her beauty for the sake of the king who is the suitor. The church is often presented as the bride of Christ. The  Lord Jesus Christ, looks up to  His bride, the Church and expects to be enthralled by her beauty. “I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him.” 2 Cor 11‬:‭2‬. 

How does the church captives Jesus Christ by her beauty ? 
- Being faithful to Him in all things 
- Engages in spreading the gospel. 
- Understanding kingdom priorities.
- Available to serve the cause of the Lord.
- Trusting God in all things holding on to His promises. 
- Yielded to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
