“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” Psalms‬ ‭42‬:‭11‬ ‭

The Psalmist expresses some form of dejection and acknowledges the Lord's power to sail through the storms of life. He views God as his Rock, the source of hope i times of troubles. In this verse  he tells his troubled soul to hope in God and he  assures that he will praise his refuge and deliver Jehovah God.

There is no despair or dejection for those who trust God. With him we always have one more move. Remember Paul and Silas “After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.” Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭23‬, ‭25‬. They praised God and made sure they are not dejected from being in prison. The result was a miraculous escape. Always keep your praise on and refuse to dragged into dejection
