“Many, Lord my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.” Psalms 40:5
The works and promises of God are innumerable. That makes God incomparable, He stands out as the only God worthy of our worship and trust. David was wowed at the remembrance of the wonders of God and His plans towards those whose trust was in Him. The first wondrous working of God is the gift of life itself. We ought to always be thankful for life.
Over and above the life we have God has great positive plans for all of us. Our response should be gratitude. A grateful view of the God’s wonders and plans is a source of inspiration. We are inspired to be good and to reflect Him to the world. “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
