Journey Through Psalms

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The Lord is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. Psalms‬ ‭28‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭

When Paul faced a challenge he prayed and God’s response was: “But he said to me, ‘I will be kind to you and I will help you. That will be enough for you. When you are weak, I will show that I am completely powerful to help you.’…...” 2 Cor . 12‬:‭9‬.   

It is God who enables His people to be strong.

You can make it through any situation because God is your strength.  In this life where we all have that desire to be in control we need to let go and let God be in charge. He an impenetrable shield able to quench any dart from your enemy. “But people who wait for the Lord to help them will receive new strength. They will rise up high, as if they have the wings of eagles. They will run and they will not become tired. They will walk and they will not become weak.” Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬. Waiting on the Lord is what we need to do. He gives new strength to those who wait.
