Journey Through Psalms

One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬ ‭

You hardly find people whose lives are not going in several directions these days. This distorts our priorities. Not David though. His top priority and heart’s desire while in the desert seeking refuge from his enemies, was in the tabernacle seeking the beauty of God.

While it is important to focus on matters of this life  and make them a priority, it is even more important to further our walk and deepen our relationship with the Lord. May your heart be captivated by God, keep doing your best to make Him your first love.
