Journey Through Psalms #23

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬ ‭

What a declaration of confidence in the accompanying presence of God. God is good and His love endures forever. This psalm was written by David who had found God to be  good all the time. Further, the Lord's unfailing love was present with him every step of life's journey. No wonder why he wrote in Psalm 37:25 “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken ….”

We can count on God’s throughout our life journey as long as we trust Him. Together with that presence is the gift of His goodness and love. Having Jesus as our lord and savior is a sure way to invite the Father’s provisions. “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?”Rom‬ ‭8‬:‭32
