Journey Through Psalms

Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. You will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow.” Psalms‬ ‭21‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭

In this Psalm we a celebration of David’s confidence in God. He is entirely convinced that because God favors Him, his enemies have no chance of success. God’s enemies can not prevail against Him therefore those who trust Him must make Him their shelter and shepherd.  In another Psalm we are told: “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name…."

The word says: “There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel…. “ Numbers  23:23. These are the words of a famous “prophet” called Balaam who had been  commissioned by a powerful rich king Balak to curse the people of God, the Israelites. He found that it was not possible to curse Gods people. Fear not God cannot be defeated stay on His side and be victorious
