Journey Through Psalms

This Psalm is great in that it acknowledges the character and the actions of God.  God is a good God out of Him flows goodness. Jesus said “If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Mat‬ ‭7‬:‭11‬. James also wrote “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, … .” James‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬.

Away from God we can not expect anything good. He himself does not change He remains good. His goodness does not come and go with seasons. We have an invitation in Psalms; “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬. Reach out to God in trusting faith and enjoy everlasting goodness.
