Journey Through Psalms

“Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. Psalms‬ ‭3‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭

When Absalom revolted against his father David fled from Him. Onlookers concluded that David was done, they thought this was the end of Him. Many were saying God will not deliver him. Despite the enemies’ opposition, David’s confidence in the Lord as his shield and deliverer did not diminish. He anticipates God's triumph over his enemies.

Never allow what you go through to affect your confidence in God. Do not change your theology because of trust or loose your confidence because of a crisis. Whatever happens keep trusting, never allow momentary challenges to eclipse your vision of victory.
