It is written

“For, “All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:24-25‬ ‭

God does communicate to His people through human vessels but ultimately God communicated to humanity through His written Word, the Bible. Man like grass has a limited lifespan but God's word ensures forever.

The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct, as such we need to embrace the word as our source of authenticity and authority. For the beliver it is important to give oneself  wholeheartedly to God’s Word. It is the Word of God that the Spirit uses to accomplish the work of God in you and through you. Stay commited to it by:

• reading it daily.
• reciting it often in prayer and praise.
• repeating it to others where possible.

Remember God stays true to what is written because he said it.
