Hope Peace Joy

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”Romans‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭

The above was a prayer of Paul. He prayed this for the saints in Rome. It can be our prayer in this crisis. For it been long in this state of affairs. Almost four months we have been in lockdowns and the threat poses by the Covid 19 remains real. Where is God and what is He saying about al this. We continue to have questions for God and about God? How even question the validity of faith in Him.

The truth is we all have our ways and thoughts on how life should be, but God’s way of doing things is so much higher than what ours. We need to trust and believe that He the God of hope will fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in him, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. This happens by us dwelling in the shelter of the Most High and resting in the shadow of the Almighty. Ps 91
