He is in control

Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.”” James‬ ‭4:13-15‬ ‭

This scripture has come to life for all of us in many ways. I was set to travel out of country tomorrow and here I am I cannot even go anywhere. The truth is we are not in control, neither do we know what tomorrow holds. Trusting God and letting Him take control is the way to go. Here imi ah was right when he said “Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps.” 10:23‬. As much as we plan for the future we must be cognizant of the fact that the present is a present from God. Our tomorrow is in the hands of God, if  He wills he can give it to us  as a present. So if  we are present tomorrow it is a present from the Lord.
