God’s Purpose

“for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.”Philippians‬ ‭2:13‬

God has a good plan and a good purpose with all lives. ‭According to Erwin Lutzer Everything that God brings into our lives is directed to one purpose: that we would be conformed to the likeness of Christ!  This is why Paul was able to say to the Thessalonians “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thess 5:16-18‬. Difficult as it is to live up to these encouragements every child of must remember that “.. we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Cor 4:18‬
