Fruit

“Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply, from the heart.” 1 Peter‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭

As a follow up to salvation Peter encourages a lifestyle that reflects true salvation. John back in Luke 3 and Mathew 3 had the same message when he said; “Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.”

Salvation requires a change of life as those who have received the gospel must walk in love and manifest the gospel. It is important to walk thus because the gospel is founded on love. Sincere love for one another is a mark of true faith no wonder why Jesus declares: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” John‬ ‭13:35‬. Those born of God live differently. Enjoy your day.
