“But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭

Why let the hatred of others toward you poison the state of your heart? Why allow hatred to block your blessings. Why become toxic because you are controlled by what others think and say about you? Why allow it to affect your spirit? God commands us saying  “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.”Rom‬ ‭12:14‬.

The call here is to offer a different response to those who offend us who do not like us and who have chosen to be our enemies. The word calls it giving them a taste of their medicine but we are not of the world though we are in the world.

Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you yourself will be just like him. Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.” Proverbs‬ ‭26:4-5‬ ‭

When you focus more on offenses , without forgiving, you magnify the offense and the negative actions of your enemies. Letting go and letting God is the ways to go. We forgive and move on “in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.” 2 Cor‬ ‭2:11. I once read a book by John Bevere; the Bait Of Satan. I Highly recommend it. In the book he shows how offenses can rule and ruin our souls. Forgive and walk in love do not let offenses make you toxic. For any believer hatred is a terrible place to be in. For those in leadership it is worse. No one can effectively lead others while walking in offense
