Does God Hear ?

Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” Isaiah‬ ‭59:1‬

At times when we cry to God it looks like it’s all in vain. Our prayers seem to not get is attention while trouble seem to multiply. The good news is that God hears and he cares for you. Let us look at Hagar again. “God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.” Gen 21:17‬. In a desperate situation this woman who had been rejected was surprised to know that God hears her.

You are not too far from His reach. He is at work. Sometimes we do not see what He is up to because we look to our neighbors. We compare their lives with our own and we conclude that our prayers are in vain. Not so. Remember Hagar and a personal encounter in both cases.
