Dealing with Depression

“The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” 1 Kings‬ ‭19:11‬ ‭

After providing food to a depressed Elijah God commands Him to stand in the mountain in the presence of the Lord. In the presence of the mighty Lord, all problems start to look small and leading to a life faith. God is present everywhere Elijah needed to be in a place of increased God consciousness to deal with His depression.

We all need to be aware that without feeling and seeing our God’s presence is always with us. No need to despair. We do feel overwhelmed after having and beating an anxiety attack but you Him we are confident and are capable of living a life free from worries and tensions. Remember the words of Peter “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭

Do not despair, do not be discouraged, you never walk alone.
