Be strong and let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight." 2 Sam 10:12

Being strong in the Lord includes an active engagement against the enemy. We are in a fight and “…. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world …” 2 Cor 10:4. Life challenges require spiritual tenacity. You stand against the enemy to fight bravely. Since our weapons are not of this world the way we fight for our people and our cities that are under spiritual siege is through: ·

  • Persistent prayers: Luke 18:1 Man ought to pray always and not give up. ·
  • Passionate praise: 2 Chron 20:21 when they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the enemies.

These two are potent weapons because besides what God does to the enemy, there is also what happens in you.  They draw the believer closer to God making him /her a stronger warrior able to face life’s challenges.

POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY   Those who fight through prayer and praise enjoy the supernatural intervention of God. Praise-warriors and prayer-warriors are strengthened by God to face the foes of this life and emerge victorious.
