DAY 8 BE STRONG HE IS PRESENT

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."  Josh 1:9 Today we use the same verse as yesterday. God promised to be present with Joshua wherever Joshua went.  God is present everywhere; he will manifest where he is fully and unreservedly acknowledged.  Do not lose heart God is right there.  Consider these words and be strong; “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. Deut 31:8 There is never a time that those who trust God are left alone. He is Jehovah Shamar; the Lord is there. His presence is a direct antidote to your challenges. You never walk alone; trust God to see you through this life. To nip fear in the bud and prevent it from taking over our lives, we need to be strong and start seeing circumstances from God’s angle. One person once said, Fear is like a rocking chair, it keeps you busy but takes you nowhere. Fear is strong in the absence of faith and faith is strong in the absence of fear.  

POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY   The presence of God assures a fresh supply of strength to the child of God. Consciousness of the abiding presence of God with you simply arms you with strength for each day.
