DAY 6 BE STRONG – HE IS CONSISTENT

 Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid of them! The LORD, your God, will go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you." Deut 31:6  

As Israel was preparing to go into the Promised Land, the words of the Lord to the were “be strong and courageous” The basis of today’s encouragement is the character of God. The Scripture says He will never fail us. The believer’s strength comes from knowing that the one who we trust is faithful and trustworthy in all His ways.  When the outlook is oblique, try the Up-look. God does not forsake or let His children down. Things may not go our way, but the Lord remains faithful. When in trouble people tend to worry and begin to lose spiritual, mental and emotional strength. The future starts to seem uncertain, that is where we have been in Zimbabwe. In the middle of all circumstances, God has a word. Be strong you are not alone. God in several places pledges His presence. He does not lie; we can rest assured that He will do as He promised. He who did not hold back His son can surely strengthen you. Like David who was strengthened by previous experiences when he faced a bigger challenge in Goliath, understand that God remains the same, true to his word. The same God of yesterday is God today.  

POWER THOUGHT OF THE DAY  

God will not violate his word. Those who trust it are assured of promises.
