DAY 40 BE STRONG AND STRAIGHT

“We must pay the most careful attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. “Hebrews 2:1 

The word was given to increase knowledge of God and to keep believers strong and straight in the faith. To remain in the Lord and avoid straying, the word calls us to pay careful attention. It’s a call to attend to our faith with diligence. Obeying the word of the Lord keeps believers connected to the Lord and protects from drifting away. How must we obey the word?  O- Open the heart to the instructions of God and be inspired  B- Believe the Lord for whoever comes to Him must believe in His being and His ability  E- Embrace the commands of God with uncompromising conviction.  Y- Yield to the Holy Spirit, He is at work to will and to do good according to the instruction of the word.    Keep obeying and keep growing, a truth applied is a truth gained.

Obedience is one way of saying God here I am give me strength.
